Well, I’ve now had 12 issues of Oliver’s monthly printed newsletter and I have had time to sit down and write a short review of it.

I will be honest and say that I haven’t renewed my subscription.

This is nothing to do the quality of information supplied – that is absolutely fine – it’s more to do with the direction my eBay trading is taking

As you may know, I signed up for Alex Jeffreys’ membership site some time ago after speaking to him at a seminar.

I like the way Alex goes about profiting from eBay and his product is a lifetime membership so there is no extra expense each year.

Still, this is about Mr Goehler so if you would like to know more about the newsletter, please take a look at the review I have put on the site:

If you’ve been a subscriber to the eBay Kommando newsletter, what did you think? Has it made you any money?

I’ve recently got hold of a huge course by the American marketer, John Reese, called “Traffic Secrets“.

It is massive!

3 huge printed manuals, 12 DVDs and 7 CD-Roms.

To be honest, I’m running out of room and I have too many biz opps manuals and DVD sets which I have pretty much committed to memory…

So, I have decided to list a load on eBay so that someone can get them at a hefty discount and make use of them.

All of the auctions have a starting price of just 99p and all have no reserve.

I’m not sure that I am listing them at the best time of the year but they simply have to go!

Basically, these will all sell, no matter what the end price.

If you are at all interested in Andrew Reynolds, Tim Lowe, Vince Stanzione, Inside Track, Stephen Pierce etc then I recommend you take a look:

Any questions, please let me know.

Happy New Year!

Back in September I went to Robert Puddy’s 3 Day Focus 4 the Future seminar in Birmingham. I covered my thoughts on the speakers and the content previously on this blog, just check the “Seminar” category….

It was held over a Friday, Saturday and Sunday and so I decided to get there early (the night before) so I would be bright and refreshed for the first session on the Friday morning.

I got there around 8pm, dumped my bags in my room and went down to the bar to have a drink and something to eat.

There were only around 20 delegates there but I managed to chat to the vast majority of them. One person who really stuck out was a young Welsh fella called Alex.

Alex’s enthusiasm was quite stunning, he was chatting away about how he had quit a pretty poorly paid construction job to concentrate solely on his eBay trading.

In fact, as I chatted to him I learnt that he had made a six-figure sum on eBay the previous year (admittedly in dollars!) and he was still only 23!

Over the weekend we got chatting more and he told me about the new product he was developing – a membership site concentrating on the techniques he uses on eBay. Now, back in September he had already been working on this site for 5 months and was adamant that it would launch in November.

Just yesterday he finally launched the membership site and is limiting it to just 500 members so that every member has chance to use the huge array of features.

When you sign up to the site you have access to loads of top quality information – reports, screenshots, software, instructional videos, a private members forum with access to Alex, personal coaching and so much more.

How do I know? Because I got a sneak peek last week… Alex had promised to let a few select people in to have a nosey around before the doors were opened officially. That’s the beauty of attending seminars and networking, you get to know people and get early access to their new products!

Back to the seminar… All weekend Alex was chatting to people and asking advice as to how much he should charge for membership – the replies were varied but most people said that he should charge a monthly fee or, failing that, a recurring yearly fee. However, Alex wanted to charge a one-off enrollment fee and leave it at that!

When he mentioned he was thinking of selling his website membership package for a ridiculously low price, everyone tried to get him to increase it.

Now that he has opened the doors I see he hasn’t budged. He’s gone ahead with the ridiculously low lifetime membership price…

Busy day today for mail, I got volume 21 of the eBay Kommando newsletter from Streetwise – edited by the “eBay Kommando” himself, Oliver Goehler.

As per usual there were 3 sales letters in the package:

(1) The Driver’s Survival Handbook which is a staple addition,
(2) An 8 page letter selling a DVD containing self defence secrets for women… and
(3) Another sales letter for the Terry Wilson package which I have already mentioned several times.

The newsletter itself was a little different than usual, this time around Oliver spent 4 pages describing exactly how he put together a profitable “real-life eBay project”.

It was very interesting, Oliver seems to combine direct mail strategies with eBay to great success. By that I mean that he writes a sales letter about the product he is selling in his eBay description. He directs the letter to any viewers, selling the benefits of that particular product.

The remainder of the newsletter contained some usual features such as the “Powerseller of the month”, “eBay seller interview” and the “Ask the Kommando” section where Oliver responds to readers questions about eBay.

Oliver also covered some tactics to use for the festive period, spilling his secrets for “Successful Christmas eBaying”.

I haven’t covered Oliver Goehler’s eBay Kommando newsletter yet on the main site but I will put this on the “to-do” list so expect a review soon.

I have already covered another of his products, click below to read more:
