Back in 2006 I put up a page about Pat Adams and his retirement package.

Although this offer has long since expired, the page still exists:

Pat Adams Retires

This write-up has a lot of details about the contents of the package that Pat was offering – which in all fairness was very impressive.

It’s been quite a while since I looked at it but today I received some DVDs that I bought from eBay and written on the back of the thank you note was a letter:

“I looked at your website, and the facts about Pat Adams’ retirement package are not entirely true.

I bought it, went to his retirement seminar day and was promised loads. He did give us a shopping cart website to sell his stuff, and I added lots of my own info, manuals/CDs but I discovered 3 weeks ago he has taken it down without letting me know and he is not answering my many emails.

He promised us the next 2 seminar DVDs etc and I only managed to get one lot of stuff by continually pestering him for it. I still haven’t received the newsletter software he promised for the 1st seminar.

I feel badly let down, but I don’t have contact with other people who went to the retirement day to see if they have had anything from him or not”

Now in all fairness to Pat, emails can go astray and therefore remain unanswered. Years of continuous spamming by morons means that many people have over-zealous spam filters which will gobble up the most innocent of emails.

However, as this person was kind enough to take the time to write to me I would like to ask anyone else who bought this package to get in touch and let me know if they received everything that was promised.

I have just bought a package which promised several expensive bonuses which I have yet to receive and so I can understand how frustrating it is. The person who offered these bonuses is currently not responding to emails or help desk tickets and there are many people who are starting to worry.

So, if you did get Pat’s retirement package, please do get in touch and let me know how you found it. You can find my email address on the main site at:

I don’t know how Mr Filsaime does it but he managed to get me to pay out $500 for his latest product which he has called the “7 Figure Code”. I’m really looking forward to getting it in 10 to 15 days but with 16 DVDs, it could be sometime until I get a review up.

One thing’s for sure though, Mike’s gonna make a fortune on this one, again! Fair play to him, he does seem to be well liked and creates good products from what I have seen in the past.

Now I’m no big name internet marketer and I am not automatically on the “must JV with” list for many people so I can’t give you an affiliate link to buy through 🙂

However, if you are thinking about getting Mike’s course then have a good look around to see what bonuses are being offered.

What I’ve found is even though the product is quite low-priced (and therefore the commission will probably be in the $250 dollar range), lots of marketers are offering a load of excellent bonuses to get you to buy through them.

This tends to suggest that promoting this product isn’t about the money.

I guess that many marketers are promoting this to try and become the number 1 affiliate – because in the IM game I would imagine that if you’re able to boast that you were the no 1 JV partner for a Mike Filsaime launch it proves that you know your onions.

I happened to stumble upon the JVBlog that Mike has setup which wasn’t particularly hidden. Well, I didn’t exactly “stumble upon” it, I went routing…

He’s given some great prizes for the top 15 people who promote his product including some great boys’ toys and also cruises!

Anyway, getting back to the 7 Figure Code course, I am excited about getting all the DVDs because for a few days I considered paying the $5k to actually attend the seminar over in the US. I didn’t go in the end because I had just paid my tax bill and I wasn’t entirely sure that I really needed it at the time but I get to see the footage now.

When I was researching bonus offers I found that there were some serious packages being offered. See what I mean by checking out the blogs of Russell Brunson, Anik Singal, Jeremy Burns, Keith Wellman and Pat Lovell.

If you were interested, I bought through Keith Wellman’s link because his offer was very impressive.

In the future I will be writing a full review of the course but in the meantime if you want to learn more about Mike Filsaime, click on the link to the right which says “Table of Contents” or go to the main site:

Back in April I travelled to Birmingham to attend the Entrepreneur Weekend seminar.

It was a great weekend and I came away with a load of extremely interesting ideas, a couple of which I have been working on for the past month or so (check out the link above for a write-up).

Possibly the most enlightening presentation was given by Paul Gunter and Andy Shorten.

These two UK entrepreneurs explained how they make great profits from the booming domain name market.

Basically they buy and sell domain names for huge mark-ups.

After I got back from the seminar, I went and bought their manual – The Domain Profit Guide.

They’ve written this how-to guide to show exactly how they manage to bring in a five figure monthly income by buying and selling domains.

So, I read it and discovered that this is a huge market, which is growing bigger by the day.

For example, did you know that all dot com domains with only 3 letters (known as “LLL.coms” meaning letter, letter, letter) were snapped up years ago?

You cannot simply pop over to GoDaddy and register one of these names. If you want an LLL.com, you need to find someone who is willing to sell theirs and then haggle with them over the cost.

And, as I write this, the rock-bottom minimum price for an LLL.com is around $4,500 or so. If you can find one for less than that, snap it up immediately!

Another type of domain name category is the LLLL.com – meaning 4 letters with a dot com extention. You can still register an LLLL.com domain but your choice is rather limited.

It is believed that out of the possible 456,976 combinations of LLLL.coms, there are around 6% left or just under 30,000. And the available amount is decreasing day by day.

So, when it comes to the point that there are no 4 letter dot com domains left to register, do you think they will increase in value?

After all, back in around 1999-2000 it was still possible to register a 3 letter dot com domain for a few dollars and these are now worth between $4,500 and a seven figure fee. Once all the 4 letter ones are gone, we could see a steady rise in their value.

I’m going to come back to domaining in the future because it is a very fascinating subject. People are making a great living simply from selling the rights to register a domain name!

Personally I have registered 95 domains since the 2nd May when I started “domaining” and I am not stopping yet 🙂

So, my advice is: don’t get left behind on this one. It’s still early days and you have time to get involved.

Like any investment, domain values can go up and down but they aren’t making any more dot coms – they can’t!

If you want to learn more about domaining, I highly recommend Andy and Paul’s book, click on the link below to grab a copy:

My confirmation of attendance for the Entrepreneur Weekend in Birmingham arrived in the mail yesterday and I am really looking forward to attending.

The organiser of this event is Steve Foley, the man who ran a very successful seminar in London last year called the UK Internet Entrepreneur Conference.

Steve has changed the format a little this year so it isn’t just internet marketing that is covered but also property investment.

According to the site (http://www.UKIECSeminar.co.uk) he has lined up a whole load of experts to speak over the two days, concentrating on property investment on the Saturday and then internet marketing on the Sunday.

If you are free on the 28th and 29th of April then I highly recommend you take a look at the site for more details.

Steve has fixed it so that you do not have to attend both days, you can choose one or the other and pay a reduced attendance fee.

I’ll be there both days so let me know if you are going and we can meet up for a drink and a chat!

Make sure to check out the Entrepreneur Weekend Seminar, I can’t stress enough how beneficial it is to get out from behind your PC and meet fellow marketers!

I’ve had quite a few emails asking for any feedback on the recently advertised “US to UK Deals” seminars from Andrew Reynolds and Tim Lowe.

One came through this week:

“I have had two or three mailing from Tim Lowe & Andrew Reynolds about their USA – UK Deals recently where you purchase licences for the DVDs you can sell on supposedly at a big profit. You know the one, Andrew is over from New York with a great deal for us and Tim Lowe will look after you at the UK end.

They want about 5k for it …you have probably seen this offer. Have you had any feedback on this opportunity? All seems a bit to good to be true but I am aware they are both respected in this field. Do you know anybody who has ever joined up with them and made the sort of money they often talk about?”

I must admit that I have never attended any of these types of seminar but I have seen good feedback from them.

A hour or so after I sent out the latest free business opportunity email newsletter I got the following feedback from one of the subscribers.

The comment was:

“My partner and I both attended Tim Lowe’s Seminar in November re. Andrew Reynold’s US-UK deals and can say that they do deliver what they say. We’ve received the resale rights on a number of DVDs and books and are at the moment in the throes of getting our first product launch up and running. I must admit, though, that it’s not for the faint-hearted. There’s a lot of preparation and research to be done – it’s definitely not a “get-rich-quick” scheme. Nevertheless, I am hopeful of being able to bring in a decent income from it very soon. Maybe it won’t be too long before I can write back with some positives – time will tell!”

Thanks for the response!
